That is the reason I shop on Ebay--Amazing deals! Vista Ultimate NIB without a coupon can be easily had for under $100. with a little patience. I have purchased on Ebay close to 50 times with almost no problems whatsoever. I say 'almost' because a couple of games I bought would not work online, so now I buy only 'new' software there. Software purchases are one of the trickier/risky areas, and Microsoft has not beeen very clear IMO re the eligibility rules for free upgrade to Win 7. I would like to hear from a moderator on this to be sure, but thanks for your input anyways.

This cleary states that there are coupons provided with qualifying packaged Vista Operating systems, not just new comps with Vista installed. And also it is a clear indication that new unopened Vista OS with the Windows 7 upgrade coupon/black postcard enclosed that are purchased on Ebay will be eligible for free upgrade to the corresponding version of Windows 7. It was, as the seller advertised - sealed anda perfectly good license.
